Jacob Faucheaux

Jacob joined Pattern as a Machine Learning Engineer in August 2019. He brings expertise in data science and computational modeling which he has applied to problems in materials science, nanotechnology, and healthcare. Jacob obtained a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he was supported by the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. His work included the development of a novel method for the calculation of vibrational properties of molecules which was recognized by the American Chemical Society with the Chemical Computing Group Excellence Award for Graduate Students. Jacob obtained a B.S in Chemistry with highest honors from Louisiana Tech University.
